@John Doe To each his own, I like Cash, Willie Nelson, Bellamy Brothers, some other stuff but overall my musical tastes are pretty wide, about the only genre's I don't care for are RAP and what I call new school Blues, hip-hop, and the more vacuous of the disco genre, I like old school rhythm and blues.
On the whole I don't find the musical aspect of country music especially exciting, some exception, the horn section in Johnny Cash's Ring of Fire for example, but the lyrical content is often humorous. This one being a prime example.
In general, I'm not fond of the "cry in your beer" genre, but I do find this one humorous, especially in this day and age where LGBQ seems so prevalent.
