Who needs Windows when such things are possible on Linux?

As soon as Flyff, an online game I've been playing for almost twenty years, works on Linux my last remaining use for Whendoze will be gone, but until that happens I still have a use but will live with Win10, security updates or no rather than move to Win11 spyware.
Windows user is not worrying about this 👀
@ayidSudirman @It's FOSS I wish this were true. I recently tried to install Win10 from USB but ultimately had to burn a DVD because I could not find workable Windows drivers.
Besides all the things you mention, it is absolutely easy to (re)install linux if something went wrong. It's a matter of 10 minutes, no complicated activation required.
And more: virtual machines are made easy as well. Some DEs even come with the needed tools onboard (boxes in Gnome). So you can check out other distros without affecting your system - including Windows :-)
@fab:log @It's FOSS Once you get familiar with the boot process, it is not that hard to recreate your entire boot environment, reinstall grub, recreate the initramfs, re-install the kernel, etc. It is really useful to keep a live distro on a USB drive to repair these things if necessary.
don‘t mind about all the Desktop Stuff 😇 yeah , I don’t mind the mass blasting blink-blink options ,too. However the Work While Update Without annoying by interrupt or restarts is on top. What else runs in background or by scheduler without bothering users ? Everything 😎 And I won’t bother you here with 100 Details 🖖
