It is either:
1) An artificial structure on Mars.
2) An artificial structure in the desert on Earth portrayed as Mars.
3) Some good art work.

Appears to be a fragment of a photo of an Olympic stadium in Tokyo by Kenzo Tange (1964, I believe).
