Newsom is putting out press releases saying the new gas tax that goes into effect tomorrow is just a few cents. He’s manipulating language. The tax is a few cents but the new benchmarks for the low carbon fuel standards (a tax) may increase prices up to $.65. Playing with words again.

@francisscottkey Same BS here in Washington, already got the second highest gas tax in the nation, after Californicatia, and we got carbon cap and trade bullshit further raising that, and that money isn't spent on roads but public transportation bullshit.
