First, I say it again, @Robert Dinse: As a German I don't know how it is in the States. You probably have better information on that and experience.

But the article states "The USA in 1999 is under that same degree of Jewish domination that Weimar Germany was under in 1929." Then it states enormous percentages of business and politics being controlled by Jews in Germany in the 1920. I a) strongly doubt these numbers and b) even if they had been true I doubt that these numbers would have implied dominance.

First, these numbers are quoted from the English historian Arthur Bryant. As far as I know, Bryant showed much support for the German nazis, even kept contact to them in 1940 and wrote in 1939 a foreword to Hitler's book "Mein Kampf", praising Hitler. Wiki on Arthur Bryant For now, I see enough reason to doubt his numbers claiming a "Jewish dominance" over Germany.

But just believe, these numbers had been true: Who says that all these Jews had a common policy? Many of them felt basically as Germans, with their belief being just an aspect. Recently I read the diaries of Viktor Klemperer, e.g., who even converged to Christianity, since he saw Judaism as something outdated.

But just believe, all Jews in some influential positions did have a common policy and did have such an overall-dominance in society as Bryant claimed: Why did they allow so much antisemitism then? Even an explicitly antisemitic party taking over power? No propaganda campaign against it in the media, which were supposedly dominated by Jews? No counter defense in the Reichstag, although, according to Bryant, there were so many Jews in parliament? And the Economy, allegedly dominated by Jews as well, also did nothing? This is not credible.

I have no doubt though, that Jews were somewhat overrepresented in business and Banking. The reason dates back to the middleages, since Jews were traditionally not allowed in "real" jobs. And Christians were not allowed for interest systems. So by the beginning of the 20. century some Jewish families had hundreds of years history of banking and trading. Some had become quite wealthy. But, as I already said, most were not and they had just as much in common with Rothschilds as I have in common with Bill Gates.

It's well known that many Jews have fled to the USA and Israel from Germany when the nazis came. Some of them surely brought money and connections. So I can imagine that some founded influential circles there. I just don't know.

But I strongly recommend again to not mix up influential rich people with normal or even poor people, just because they happen to have the same religion.

Greetings, best wishes
C.

@Christian Bredlow 🌿 Ok you're right people just hate Jews for no reason, they Germans were just a blood thirsty murderous race, the Jews did nothing to incite the violence against them, neither did they do anything to the other 109 countries they've been kicked out of. People need to either learn from history which means acknowledging the reality that to every conflict there are two sides, not just a single aggressor or repeat it. I don't like the latter option personally.

European antisemitism dates back very very far to the middle ages and had basically religious reasons. People were unbelievably religious here in medieval times. And Jews were, according to the bible, seen as the group that was responsible for the killing of Jesus. So Judaism was seen for centuries as something evil. They were like outlaws. There are many cases reported where local Jewish groups were suspected to have killed children or even eaten them and so much more.

People with respected jobs, like all craftsmen, were for centuries usually organized in guilds. And they would never allow Jews in their deeply religious rows. So Jews were often like Gipsies used to be as well: No one wanted to have anything to do with them, all tried to keep distance, and if something happened the Jews were among the first to be under suspicion.

That's really old tradition for centuries everywhere in Europe. The nazis just used a cheap old trick many despots used in history: Present to the people a common enemy, a guinea pig in that anybody can project his hates and fears. They could have chosen any other group, like catholics. But obviously by the early 20. century Jews were still the most obvious choice for the guinea pig role.

I've seen many documents that show, that the traditional discrimination was just about to end at that time. Like I told you Professor Viktor Klemperer converted to Christianity in the 20s and said Judaism is outdated. Or like the Article I read from a Jewish community which, in fervent patriotism, called on its members to fight for Germany in the First World War. They obviously didn't see themselves as something else than normal Germans.

I don't think either the Germans were just "blood thirsty" as you said. In fact it was something I couldn't explain for decades. I knew my grandparents and other old men and women and they were good people. They said they didn't know the Jews were killed, but I didn't believe. They had seen the discrimination and the deportations, but they said they didn't know about the killings. I don't know. But I know that the killings only started in about 1940/41, which was in the middle of the war already. There must have been some rumor about it, some leaked informations, but I see that most people were busy with themselves then.

How a cultivated nation could have slided so quickly into barbarism was always a riddle for me. But now recently I see exactly that. That was where we started this discussion, the sentence "the people are broken". It's a mixture of many things. Some police-terror, some pressure, some real fear implanted in their brains, some social fear to still speak up were they would actually disagree, some politicians telling them who's fault it is and then they let their hate just flow. It's mass psychosis.

I guess we're going to have to re-run history.
