I'm no expert in biology, even less in evolutionary biology. But it amuses me greatly, that "intelligent design" advocates think they know better than leading figures in the field.
I'm no expert, so I can't claim, nor try, to prove to them evolution is a fact. All I can do is point them to what I've found to be easy to digest sources. But these people, who clearly are less knowledgeable than me, somehow think they can "debunk" the experts. As proof they can do so, they refuse to even consider reading whatever I'd point them to.
I find it hilarious really, but it's probably also a big waste of time to interact with them further.

People seem to insist that there is a discrepancy between what God did, create the universe and all the life in it, including the Earth and the life upon it, and how he did it (which at this point we only partially understand but certainly evolution is part of it). Other than time frame there is no discrepancy. And the time frame, often seems highly metaphorical in the Bible.
