Global warming is the interglacial warm periods between ice age glaciations... The warm periods are the times of abundance, the ice ages destroy civilizations. CO2 is essential for photosynthesis and the oxygen and food that plants produce. If we reduce the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere below 80ppm, all plant life will begin to die.

@T P Q Plant life will die WELL above 80ppm. C4 plants will survive into that level but C3 plants suffer at around 180-200ppm, which is about the lowest CO2 levels have ever been in the atmosphere.
