in 2023, i showed up to a palestine solidarity protest with a box of #N95 masks to distribute to the crowd. maybe one person took one. almost everyone glared at me and looked at me as if i was an annoying freak. i left disillusioned and discouraged.

earlier this week, i showed up to a protest in downtown #LosAngeles with a box of N95's, and i distributed all 50 of them within an hour. several people even thanked me! total 180 and says A LOT about the character of these uprisings.
