Bomb Cyclone

We're experiencing the effects of the so-called bomb cyclone which set a new record low for a mid-latitude storm 27.83 recorded at a buoy 325 miles west of Aberdeen, WA. The storm eye came across the Northwestern tip of Washington, the Forks area, and really slammed Vancouver Island and BC just North of Vancouver pretty hard. Here we just got the edge of it, even so 35 mph gusts and buckets of rain but all my evergreens still standing, though a few 4 inch limbs on the ground here and there. Not sure all the Alders made it but they've been mostly dying off anyway. They are a first growth tree and not long lived.
