This is a very interesting subject and a rabbit hole that I have explored before. It is undeniable that the gut bacteria affects the brain and rest of the body. I had no clue until my daughter became autistic seven years ago. I got online to see if avoiding food dyes would help, and that's when I started seeing comments that said autism begins in the gut. I was so mad, everyone knew autism is a brain disease that can't be cured! Well, after reading about it three times I decided to look into it, and wow! what a wake-up call! There are so many ways the gut bacteria influences the brain! But it is not a simple solution to fix the gut bacteria problems. You have to ask why are there more bad bacteria than good? There's supposed to be 80% good bacteria and 20% bad bacteria, and the good bacteria is supposed to keep the bad bacteria in check. After a couple of years of testing and severe diets I found out that mercury poisoning is the reason my daughter's gut is messed up. Mercury affects the immune system, and the immune system is supposed to keep yeasts and bacteria in check. Mercury is one of the few things that is causing the diseases that doctors are clueless about, it is such a huge problem! Anyway, I found a safe way to chelate my daughter (Andy Cutler Chelation protocol) and my daughter is cured of autism. She has gone from being an uncontrollable monster who I was trying to homeschool three years ago, to now attending school and is among the smartest and most well behaved in her class. We have been through hell and now i decided we will only do the things that work and make a difference. Andrew cutler Chelation is one of the few things that worked. We still do a round of ACC about once a month, and she continues to make improvements. When mercury is a problem, the gut won't heal.
