hmmm but we're not unarmed. Anyone who isnt a crim or a violent offender and is over 18yr old can own guns - children need their parents permission. No more 28 day waiting period to register a second or subsequent guns, you can wander into a gun club and have a bit of a shoot with their guns. You can also own and use unregistered high-powered guns as long as they're left at the gun club premises. Buying and selling registered firearms online is okay too. There are cries to toughen Vic's gun laws to bring them into line with the National Firearms Act (much more prohibitive) but we're good with things as they are.
