Problems moving over....
Hello. I just imported my account from a soon to close instance. I'm trying to set up my network connectors by using the Social Networks "tab" in Settings. It gives me an HTTP 500 This Page Isn't Working - friendica.eskimo.com is currently unable to handle this request error every time. Any idea what is causing it?
Also, hello. Nice to be on a local PNW instance for a change! 😀

If an addon is missing, misconfigured, or has an outdated config file, Friendica will throw a 500 instead of showing the settings.
I suspect I may have missed enabling one of the Social Network addons after the last update. I’ll check the addon directory and the Friendica logs to see which module is failing to load. Once I fix the missing or broken addon, that tab should start working normally.
Thanks for reporting it — I’ll dig into it shortly. If you could tell me what network you are coming from this could be helpful. Thank you.

in reply to Nanook • •@Nanook Thank you! I came over from my-place.social which is shutting down January 1st.
I TOTALLY understand about the scattered and incomplete documentation with Friendica. I briefly thought about trying to set up my own instance and the deeper I dug the more I realized that was going to be above my head. Sigh.

in reply to Nanook • •@Nanook I do think my-place.social had connectors you might not. He had the WordPress and Tumblr addons active. I had both set up. WordPress worked for me. Tumblr did not. I used BlueSky over there also.
If that is what you meant.
The import account errored out part way through as well. So that might have caused problems. None of my contacts came over (I have that as a separate export as well though).

in reply to Etienne le Marchand (Steve J) • •@Nanook I am clicking on my profile picture on the top right. Selecting "Settings" from the drop down menu. On that screen I am going to the listing on the left under "Settings" and clicking on the 7th one down labeled "Social networks". As soon as I do that, I get the http 500 error page.
I've gone through all the other options under settings without any problems. Just that one.

in reply to Etienne le Marchand (Steve J) • •@Etienne le Marchand (Steve J) The issue turned out to be Tumblr Post Connector no longer has a proper database structure and is trying to access elements in the database that no longer exist.
Disabling this allowed friendica.eskimo.com/settings/… to work, But chasing this down was more of a benefit than I had anticipated as in the process I discovered part of the code did not copy properly from the github repository and as a result, some functionality was missing. Fixing this restored full functionality.
