Wow, thank you so much for opening my eyes to this, Nanook! I have always enjoyed Russell Brand, I used to see him on Graham Norton and other shows. He is outrageous and entertaining, but I never realized how bright and well-spoken he is. This is brilliant and very well put together. I have to go sign up and see more of his talks. Thanks again!

@Vee McMillen I got to tell you I spent from like 25-50 years old with severe depression and anxiety and meds didn't help, at 50, I was introduced to a form of meditation called mindfulness meditation, 62 now, almost 63, and anxiety and depression levels resolved. This is not to say I never am sad, certainly the loss of my parents was painful, and not to say I am never anxious about anything but it's not chronic or severe like it was. All the SSRI's and NSRI's in the world and I'm sure I was on at least a couple of dozen different ones over the years never even came close to providing relief. There are many forms of meditation but I think mindfulness and transcendental are probably the two that are the most impactful but the latter has become something of a financial racket and too rich for my blood.

I am glad to hear it worked for you. I truly believe in it. My first husband and I went through a Mahareshi Mahesh Yogi rounding seminar that latest a week. The financial racket part I agree with, but I did get a lasting life lesson from it; how to center myself and focus on what matters, let the chaff fall out. It works for me.
