Damn... glad I did my Lebanon, Jordan, Israel, Palestine, and Egypt trip back in 2020, right before the scamdemic went full blown.
Egypt of course has incredible sites... but Lebanon was surprisingly amazing. And Jordan and Petra... can't get better than Petra.

Yeah... I wonder if there was a place that I saw that falls in that category. Maybe. I was in Ukraine in 2018.
There are cool areas that I recall, no longer there... Coney Island in NYC or the Fremont area as I knew it in Seattle... the lake district in Phnom Penh in Cambodia, or the whole neighborhood where I stayed when I first went to Seoul around the Sejong Cultural Center.

in reply to Nanook • • •If I remember, that is an actual VW that they used. I got at least for shots of the troll, from when family (mine and my ex's) visited. I like the Lenin statue too, not for communism at all... just that it was going to be junked, and was bought and shipped there. There's a whole retired statue thing that I saw in Moscow... those artists had a certain style... like how the Bauhaus artists had a style.
