My view is feminism was never about women's interests, it was about corporation getting cheaper labors interest. More laborers on the labor market means lower labor rate, and fuck the consequences on the human race so long as profit's are up.

in reply to Nanook • • •If this was the case, then it was rather short-sighted, since we have now, across the board, a dramatic drop in birthrates in almost every country. A significant reason given is 'time', or lack thereof, to spend on more than one kid, if any at all.
Of course, this low birthrate, in some places even below extinction level, coincides with the drive towards automation and the rise of AI and other technologies to make large swathes of human 'workers' redundant anyway. So perhaps that was the long-term plan; to reduce the 'useless eaters' just in time.

Separating mothers from their babies is a crime against nature.
Don't know how women do it.
I worked my arse off with my babies always with me. They learned chopping wood, cooking, milking, making bread, clothes, furniture, cheese, herbal medicine, shelter, growing food etc etc from birth.
Now I am being punished, no income, no pension....
