Molten Salt Reactor
Rather than leaving a radioactive legacy a million years down the road,
this type of reactor can burn the actinides (those elements heavier than Uranium)
leaving only short term waste products and recovering almost 200x the energy
that was extracted from Uranium in pressurized water reactors.
