Again, recent stats for King County, notice although there was some uptick at the end of the week, it was less than the downtick at the beginning. But more significantly notice that while there was this uptick in infections, hospitalization status decreased.

I don't see a lot of "wising" happening in a week, the only viable explanation is this version is even less effective at causing illness than previous strains.
