@🌈Magical Thinking I never understood people comparing Cold Play to U2, U2 at least in the beginning was ultra-high energy, Cold Play was suck the energy out of you dead.

@🌈Magical Thinking I like most genres of music, RAP and the modern idea of R&B which is entirely a different thing from old school R&B being notable exceptions, as music with lyrics go I prefer music with a message, and U2 fit the bill but not vacuous lyrics like Avril Lavigne and her clones (about half a dozen names come to mind), which is not to say I dislike female pop stars, just vacuous female pop stars. And then I like music to have some brightness and energy to it and this is where Cold Play falls completely flat.
