USA has no honor.

The American people have but not the US. It is run by Jews. And that is why the US is always targeting civilians in every war. Just like Roosevelt/Truman and (Churchill UK same thing) targeted German civilians and Japanese Civilians in WW2.

Ever since the US has targeted civilians in every war. Because that is how the Jews fight. And that is how you know that Jews are running the US.

@white_male Iranians fired drones at MV Ever Lovely (Singapore-flagged) in the strait. That was two days ago, I think.
Here's more about it if you're interested seatrade-maritime.com/security…

@white_male I would imagine so. But then, it is an internal waterway so anyone has the right to sail trough there without paying or asking for permission, and on top of that, the ship was crossing the strait trough Omani territorial waters, not Iranians.
Unknown parent

pat

@white_male well, actually, it's internal due to UNCLOS. And I would even accept the fact that since Iran didn't ratify UNCLOS, the law doesn't apply to them, if it wasn't for a fact that they do claim territorial waters that UNCLOS gives them, and they expect every other country to treat their vessels as if they ratified UNCLOS.
Also, look at the map. Half the width of the strait isn't even theirs no matter how you spin it.

@white_male yeah, but that makes them thugs, not some sort of righteous men of the desert or whatever the fuck you think they are.
Basically they're, like, we're in conflict with Israel and the US, so we'll just fuck everyone up, because, ya know, reasons. It's like me shooting you because my neighbor threatened me.
And hey, if you think that's ok, more power to ya, not that I care what you believe.

@Humpleupagus @white_male well, they do want to force all the vessels transiting trough the strait to pay them for "insurance", they're the only people who threaten the shipping there and they shoot at ships that choose not to go trough their side of the strait but trough Omani waters, so.... If that's not a classic protection racket, then I don't know what is.
in reply to pat

@pat @white_male People like to over simplify things, truth of the matter I haven't seen any European nation not also infiltrated and controlled by Mossad, but it's always easy to point at the stick in someone else's eye than to remove the one in your own.

The truth of the matter is we have a situation far more precarious and dangerous than most realize.

First the nuclear element, Iran is heavily dependent upon desalinization and dead dinosaurs only going to carry them so far, so long term nuclear is central to their survival, but nuclear power production does not require 60%+ enrichment. So I got to wonder whatcha all think of a mushroom cloud going off in your region?

Second you've got the religious element, Jews think they are God's chosen but they are rather arrogant about what they think they are chosen for, in their minds to enslave and control the world. Don't know about you but that's not acceptable to me.

And then Iran, Shi'a Islam also believes they are God's children but their view is that their mission is to bring on Armageddon, eliminate the those who don't believe as they, so if that's what you want let it go unabated. Combine these two major religious perversions and it's clear massive conflict is inevitable, and with the US military we are best equipped to get in the way of this agenda so naturally we're the great devil.

All that said, if this were the only agenda we would have mounted a rapid surprise attack to take out air defense and then landed a massive ground assault, retrieved the enriched uranium, and left. We didn't do that, which suggests other motivations which I think can be spelled out with three letters, "oil".

So my take the US didn't address is properly, efficiently, or in a way that would have minimized harm to civilians, the Europeans didn't address it at all, now being what it is, I don't know the solution but I suspect name calling isn't it.

@Humpleupagus @LivingSpaceStudios @white_male dude! No nobody's morally right here. I never said that and I never will. The way I see it, both sides are morally wrong. But that doesn't change the fact that Iran has no right to do what they're doing in the strait, and thus they can't fuckin' claim moral high ground when they're being pounded for that. I mean, c'mon.
Unknown parent

@Humpleupagus @LivingSpaceStudios @white_male well, fortunately for Iran, its real adversaries, namely Israel and the US don't think so, at least not entirely, because if they did, Iran would be a sheet of glass by now and the straight of Hormuz would be know and glowy waters of fuckin' Netanyahu or something along those lines

@SiRrogueKnight @Humpleupagus @white_male yeah, that's true. I mean, they call it lighthouse maintenance fees, rescue tug money and shit, and it's pennies, but yeah, they do that and it's bullshit. Then again, it's not like I believe they have the right to do that stuff.

>trough Omani waters
LOL. The non-contiguous part of Oman? Residents in the peninsula's villages speak Iranian. There's limited road access to the UAE, and they actively trade with Iran.

If Oman ever allowed them a MuH DeMoCrAcY referendum on whether to separate, hoo boy.

@PalePimp @Humpleupagus @LivingSpaceStudios @white_male The Strait of Hormuz known since antiquity as the "Persian Gulf" in your mind because you've never seen a goddamn map. Anyone who know geography on elementary school level knows that the strait and the gulf are two different things. Your house isn't called the driveway, now is it.
And as far as equating Iranians and Persians go, I'm actually cool with that, but only if you'll start thinking of me as ancient Roman.

pat

@white_male @Humpleupagus @LivingSpaceStudios @PalePimp you're right about that, yeah. But then, what does it change? I mean, either we go by some sort of established rules or we go back to the "whomever has the biggest stick is right" thing. And honestly, I'm cool with either option, but here's the thing: it is the us who has the largest stick, and by far.
Unknown parent

mastodon - Link to source

pat

@PalePimp dude, we all know how it works, how the IRGC explains it and what it is in practice. And yeah, they do have reasons to do what they're doing - I'm certainly not denying that, but you can't deny the fact that when the rest of the world says this ain't ok, they're right too. All I'm saying here is that since they do the thuggery, because that's what it is, let's be honest, they're just being a fuckin' hypocrites when they're claiming some sort of moral high ground.
in reply to pat

@Humpleupagus @white_male Considering US hegemony is built upon their ability to ensure shipping lanes keep functioning, this is actually an excellent way to fuck with the USA and destroy any influence they have. Months of war and the self-declared greatest military power in history cannot ensure safe merchant vessel passage through a few kilometers of water despite the deployment of entire fleets and dozens of military bases in the region. Why would anyone play along with the USA if the one promise they ever made to their clients is not upheld?
Unknown parent

@PalePimp you want me to start stating the obvious? Please. Obviously most of the answers will be in your side's favor here because of how you worded it. Except for one: it is the US that actually holds the cards - make no mistake, my man. The US absolutely has the ability to end this tomorrow by either forcing Iran into an unconditional surrender or just obliterating the whole country. They just choose not to play the cards they have. Face it. Trump has the right to order Iran to be glassed.
in reply to Nanook

oh c'mon. It's not like the movies depict it. Both Hiroshima and Nagasaki were rebuild within two years after the bombings and oil sits deep enough to be completely unaffected. I mean, it would absolutely be a genocidal move and all, but not something that would make everything into a permanent wasteland. Not to even mention that the Iranian oil isn't even a big issue here - the issue is oil from the rest of gulf states than can't cross the Hormuz.

@pat Problem is it doesn't just stop at 10kt nuclear fission bomb, it escalates and pretty soon you're blasting off 1Mt and then 50Mt fission/fusion/fission bombs, and then Russia gets involved and we have an exchange with them, and then the civilized world is pretty much gone, na, I think using nukes is a bad idea.

I think a better solution is to build a large fleet of our own cheep ass drones, when they throw one at us, yes we waste a million dollar interceptor to stop it, but then we fire back with 200 of ours aimed at expensive infrastructure of theirs. Pretty soon the maths don't make sense for them to continue attacking us.

@dictatordave @nanook man, I'm not saying that it should be done or even that the whole Iran war made any sense to begin with - the way i see it, while I do see why the US administration might have decided it was the right thing to do, I'd never said it should go where it went. But still, the facts are what they are. The US has a stick big enough to end it, and I always believed that if you start something, you kinda gotta finish it, so...
Unknown parent

mastodon - Link to source

pat

@dictatordave @nanook I do, yes. But being a pragmatist, I don't really care. You see, for me, the situation is what it is, the cards on the table are what they are, and it doesn't really matter how we got here. All that matters to me is how we'll get out of this. And yeah, I will support any solution that puts my side on top. After all, why should I give a shit about some desert bacon deniers? That ain't my tribe.
Unknown parent

@dictatordave @nanook if the nukes start flying it will be a disaster, sure, and I definitely don't want to see this happen. But that being said, it's not quite as apocalyptic scenario as Hollywood portrays it, which unfortunately means that it is an option.
in reply to pat

@pat @dictatordave I am in agreement that we should finish it, I am in disagreement how. I think we ought to commit to our original objective of capturing the enriched Uranium in a focused high intensity land assault, and I believe we should respond to drone attacks as I suggested, make it more expensive for them. It is already a war of attrition and the faster we make attrition happen to their resources, the faster it will end. I think there is a moral obligation to recognize that the IRGC is NOT the populace, the populace do not support them, but the populace is massively outgunned so can't overthrow them, and for this reason precise targeting is not only militarily wise but a moral imperative.
in reply to Nanook

@nanook @dictatordave why would you be in a disagreement? I never said how it should be finished. All I've said is that the nuclear option is, ya know, an option. Ideally, I'd see this shit resolved at a negotiating table, but being a realist/pragmatist, I don't really see that happening. That being said, just caving to Iran's demands would be detrimental to the whole "western world", so it kinda smells like shit to me.
in reply to pat

@pat @dictatordave And I am saying that between escalation with potential Russian and Chinese involvement, harm to innocent civilians, and expense it should not be an option and I think that is why we are in disagreement.

I think there are much safer surgical options that can be effective.

@GoonPatrol it is the usual kike the at of looking at this, sure, there's no denying that fact, but in this particular case it's isn't better. I mean, it's not like they did a jack shit to stop Hezbollah from launching their bottle rockets at the kikeistan. Honestly, it doesn't look to me like either side really wants peace.

@GoonPatrol Iran might not be running your banks like them likes do, but they blackmail you economically by threatening 20% of world's oil supply, not to mention LNG, fertilizers and all that jazz. In the grand scheme of things, I really fail to see the difference

@GoonPatrol dude, from where I'm sitting, extorting tye guy who brings me gas is extorting me. I could only see it differently if I wanted to take a side in this conflict between goatfuckers, but this is something I refuse to do. I'm sorry my man if it pains you, but all I care about is my own interest, and right now, putting Iran in it's please absolutely is in my interest. And by the way, it's in your interest as well, it's just that you refuse to acknowledge that, because Jew always the worst

@Eiswald only one snag here - Israel didn't sign any MoU. The deal was made between Iran and the US, that's it. If you want to talk about third parties here, how about you at least acknowledge the fact that if Iran was actually serious here, they'd make some minimal effort to keep Hezbollah from going all blowy sand nigger for a few days. You know, just for appearances.
