A friend of mine from High School (We're talking mid 1970's) wintered over in Antarctica for eight consecutive years to blast and drill for scientists there, he has a place named after an incident where he drilled deep into ice and hit some badly festered sausage that the Army had buried there years ago. Later he bought a house in New Zealand to retire, but unfortunately died in an apartment fire in Washington near Seattle while visiting a friend here. Anyway, never understood what he saw in New Zealand, but maybe 25 party orgies had something to do with it.
