Έφυγε από τη ζωή ο αναρχικός Γιώργος Γαρμπής, υπεύθυνος των εκδόσεων «Ελεύθερος Τύπος».
Οι εκδόσεις «Ελεύθερος Τύπος» μεγάλωσαν γενιές αναρχικών με βιβλία από διάφορα ρεύματα της επαναστατικής σκέψης όπως είναι ο ελευθεριακός κομμουνισμός, ο συμβουλιακός κομμουνισμός, οι καταστασιακοί, η κοινωνική οικολογία κ.α.
Εμφανίστηκαν μεταπολεμικά (1975) με το βιβλίο του Μιχαήλ Μπακούνιν «Η παρισινή κομμούνα του 1871 και η ιδέα του κράτους».
Έδρευε αρχικά στην οδό Κιάφας 3, κατόπιν στη Ζωοδόχου Πηγής 17, και τέλος στον πεζόδρομο της Βαλτετσίου 53.

furthermore this link from some group going by "TRT Global" uses the same picture but claims it was a "Mahmoud Issa Abu Sharbi" who was killed, not Mahmoud Essa... something about this is very wrong
