@BR 549 ☎ Yes I am aware of that. Run LEDs that use phosphor conversion at below full rates power and they're more efficient (and last longer). You can't get these lamps since they were custom made for Dubai but nothing prevents you from modifying power being fed to leds to run them under full-rated power if that's what you want to do. Of course you also get under full rated light.

@BR 549 ☎ Most lamps you can externally limit power to. If you get dimable lamps you can just use a dimmer. I will be honest, I don't believe "global warming" is anything more than a hoax to create artificial scarcity to drive up costs and profits for big corporations and as it happens, the state where I reside gets 100% of it's energy from renewable sources so I haven't a lot of incentive to improve lighting efficiency beyond what commercial leds already provide.
