Climate Change
The part that makes the whole climate change bullshit so irrational is that the billionaires telling us we can't drive our cars because the 2-3 gallons per hour of fuel that we burn is somehow going to be more damaging than the 300 gallons of fuel per hour their private jets burn.

I get the frustration, but that comparison is a bit misleading. Private jets are definitely a problem and deserve criticism, but they account for a tiny fraction of total emissions. The bigger issue is that everyday activities—driving, heating, electricity—add up across billions of people. Both things can be true: elites should be held accountable and systemic changes at scale still matter.

Yeah, that double standard is what frustrates a lot of people. It’s hard to take climate messaging seriously when some of the loudest voices still live lifestyles with emissions most normal people could never even come close to producing.
