I have successfully compiled 6.7 kernel on my workstation for Ubuntu using make bindeb-pkg, but compiling it for Redhat machines using binrpm-pkg fails. Also, trying to compile it on one of my servers is failing. Previous kernels have compiled without error in both environments. This is the error I am getting with make bindeb-pkg on the server, 6.2 compiled fine on this same machine:

Lucid dreams are a type of dream where you become aware of the fact that you are dreaming within the dream, then, often, you can direct the dream as you like, go flying, time travel, travel to a distant planet, whatever.
I had a lot of these in my twenties but they declined significantly after that and now in my 60's they are relatively rate even though I still dream quite vividly and generally do remember my dreams at least initially upon wakening.
A key to intentionally having a lucid dream is finding some test to determine if you are awake or dreaming and then doing it frequently while awake. This becomes habit and then you start doing it in your dreams as well.
A test that seems to work for many is looking at their hands though nobody has ever explained to me how this works and what is different in a dream state, however I have not found this to work for me.
I accidentally discovered last night that in a dream state I can not perform simple multiplication in my head. In a dream to solve some problem I had to
multiple 3x17 in my head, I could not do it, but upon waking it was trivial.
I'm not sure how this will work in the long run, if I always use the same numbers
then it will just become a memory item.

I don't know how many here are old enough that in the past they used to listen to talk radio. I am 65, and did so and I miss the old days of the Art Bell show and some others.
However radio doesn't have enough audience these days to sustain such a show economically, much of the audience has gone to the web.
I got to thinking how could we bring this sort of thing to the web, we have blogs, but they are one-way except live blogging allows for real time comments, but it is nothing like talk radio used to be where you could have a host in one location, a guest in another, and callers calling in from all over the world and people listing from all over.
I can envision a web application that could so something better but I don't have the coding skills to pull it off, so thought I would describe my idea and see if anybody else there feels it might be worth pursuing.
My idea is to have something like Zoom, except on the viewers in it has the ability to have infinite number of people watching, something that on the output side can work with a cdn so that it can be widely distributed.
Then there would be one or two main windows (host or host+guest), and a number of small windows on the side (callers queued) and when they come on they'd get a slightly larger screen to distinguish them being live from those in queue, and the host would have the ability to make them full screen if they had something to show or visually share and the host would also be able to full-screen the guest in that event.
Ideally, this would be entirely browser based and not require an "app".

The battle between capitalism and communism is one that can't be won because pure forms of either do not work. And this is going to become more true as AI, robotics, and automation in general become a larger part of our lives.
The problem can be reduced to this. Those that own the means of production keep the wealth to themselves. But if we distribute the means of production equally productivity dies and we all starve. The Bolsheviks are a case in point. A relative minority of farmers owned all the land, produced all the food, and they were wealthier than others because everybody has to eat so they will trade whatever they have to get enough to eat.
Enter the Bolshevik revolution, land is taken away from the farmers and given to all the populace on a more or less equal basis. Most of whom either don't know how to farm, don't want to farm, or are just plain lazy, no food is produced, 60 MILLION people die of starvation.
In the west we find ways to compromise but in some areas we have compromised too much, labor unions are a case in point. They help by forcing the owners of the means of production to share some of that production with their workers. It is an imperfect system as it exists because it doesn't incentivize production, it just incentivizes showing up and collecting a paycheck, and in practice many employees these days have problems even with the showing up part. It generally forbids or makes difficult for a corporation to reward a more productive worker for their productivity verses the employee that just shows up and collects a pay check but does little to contribute to the generation of wealth that is distributed to them.
The west does have a market system that allows people to buy-in to the means of production, called Stock Markets. But this usually requires a more long term view than most people have.
The other solution is welfare which provides people who do not contribute to the production of wealth in any manner what-so-ever access to a portion of that wealth. This has gotten so out of hand that we've got a large unemployed work force out there that will not hold a job even though millions are available. Why work when you can sit at home and get high?
Part of the reason that people sit on welfare and don't take jobs is because the type of jobs that are becoming available requires knowledge they don't have. If a robot takes over flipping burgers at your local burger palace, SOMEONE still has to fix that robot when it breaks, and it will, someone still has to provide the energy it requires, someone has to build it, program it, etc. So it took a few peoples jobs but many jobs are created to maintain it, but not enough people are trained in those technologies.
So laziness is part of the issue, but the lack of availability of training is another part. My view, we should not support laziness. If someone wants to collect welfare and they are able bodied but lack training then they should have to be in training to receive it and we should find some means of providing that training.
Fighting over which economic system should rule by throwing Molotov cocktails at each other in the streets and destroying existing goods, services, and the means of producing them is NOT the way we should be going about this.
I think we should find some ways to make it easier for someone interested in entering the market to do so, reduce regulations that make it too complex, people who own a stake in the means of production, even if other people are doing the production, are more likely to contribute to it in positive ways than people who do not.
The other solution is welfare which provides people who do not contribute to the production of wealth in any manner what-so-ever access to a portion of that wealth. This has gotten so out of hand that we've got a large unemployed work force out there that will not hold a job even though millions are available. Why work when you can sit at home and get high?
This is truly the biggest problem right now - it justifies endless illegal immigration because "the locals won't do it!" when, in reality, some amount of pressure must be exerted on the chronically unemployed to get the desired results.
Likewise, illegal immigration dilutes wages way too much. You could even say that illegal immigration is a stressor on the free market.

I never dreamt I'd experience a future with so much unrealized potential.
When I was young, in the 60's, in the Seattle area, if you were white, Capital Hill, which was essentially 90% black back then, was a place you didn't want to go because if you for example stopped at a red-light and there was a car in front of you four black men would break your windows, drag you out of your car, and beat the shit out of you just for fun.
I had a hard time understanding this when I was in 4th grade and earlier because we had some black kids in the neighborhood and they were like everyone else, we all got a long, played together, maybe got into some mischief together but it wasn't the destructive things people do today.
Then our shitty city decided that the schools weren't "mixed" enough so they bussed children from the South part of the city which were mostly black up to the North which were mostly white. I was fortunate to be able to stay into a school close to my home even though my friends were sent to schools in the south. The local blacks continued to behave as they always had, but those imported organized gangs and all sorts of fights ensued. I had one of these gangs jump me and start whaling on me and I fought back and even though I did not start this fight, I merely defended myself, I'm rewarded with a three day expulsion. I pointed out I didn't start the fight, they accused me of being racist, I pointed out I had black friends in the school, didn't matter I was racist.
It was pretty much this way through out junior high school (our school system was divided as elementary school grades kindigarden - 6th, Jr. High 7th through 9th, and high school 10th through 12th, though my Jr. High and High were across the street from each other and advanced students were allowed to go acrosss the street and take some of their high school classes early. There was some magical boundary crossing the street because in the high school, none of this racial stuff was happening.
At first, I did not understand why this was happening, but then I came to understand that in high school, instead of random forced bussing they had a different system to encourage racial mixing and that was the high schools each had what they called "magnet school" programs which means each school had unique programs that other schools didn't. Our high school had a radio station and electronics classes and an Olympic size swimming pool and students would come there to use one of those facilities or take part in a program those facilities provided, everyone in Seattle was permitted to choose high school that interested them, so even though we had a lot of black people there, and they weren't local, they were there by choice and that was the big difference.
So for me at least the puzzle for that situation had resolved, and by the time I was in high school the situation on capital hill was changing. The police started to actually police it, property values increased, the run down buildings were bulldozed and new homes and businesses were built and it became an area that was less racially polarized. When I try to understand why people mostly lived in peace there for a while, poverty used to be the norm when it was almost all black, now not so much. So I thought ok, probably economic conditions had a lot to do with it's previous situation, a lot of poor black people forced to live there because they didn't have the means to live in other places. When the economy improved those that remained did so by choice and were no longer living in poverty. It occurred to me that back in school, those blacks that were native to the local area also were not living in poverty because the neighborhood was one of reasonable affluence.
Biden added support for economic well being having a lot to do with us being able to get along, because after Biden got in office and ruined the local economy, Capital Hill has gone back to being a war zone. In fact it's worse than that now, it's the entire city.
There is someone up at the top that wants to destroy us, someone who wants to reduce our population, and wants those of us who remain to live in poverty. Covid vax has killed five people for every one person it's saved. This was obviously planned because they started developing the vax before the first hints of the lab grown disease was created and released into the public. They create a situation where there is a shortage of energy and food to cause massive deaths, and accelerated it with injected toxins. I don't know who all the players are, obviously Bill Gates, Klaus Schwab, Uval Harrari, Rockefuckers, Rottchilds, but who is at the head of this? I don't know, I'm sure Henry Kissinger was one of them also, but thankfully that bastard finally died.
We could have such a future ahead of us if we could eliminate the influence of these bastards. By creating these artificial scarcities, they cause us to fight each other over the remaining resources when we are not each other's enemy, THEY are our enemy. If not for them we could put our energy into creating a better future for ourselves, get fusion reactors working, get molten salt fission reactors working, continue improving space technology so we can mine resources from off the planet where there is no natural life to be hurt.
We need to identify our true enemy and stop fighting each other. Put an end to this bullshit and move on to achieve our destiny.
We are in need of many material things, rich people think that the rest of us do not contribute and we are just worthless eaters. But if you look through history what have rich people contributed? Precious little. Because the majority of the world is not wealthy, the majority of important inventions come from the poor or middle class. They often become rich in the process, like Elon Musk, but they usually don't start off that way. The majority of the rich contribute nothing but schemes for self enrichment and power grabbing.
This is the problem with the thinking of the depopulation agenda folks like Ehrlich, Schwab, Harari, Gates, etc.
It is not just a matter of consuming and running out of natural resources, because no matter the rate, a given natural resource will run-out. It is more about man's ability to adapt and use new resources that are abundantly available. Even resources that are scarce are almost infinitely abundant, they are just difficult to get to because they are distributed very widely and sparingly like rare Earth's, or because they are buried deep within the Earth like precious metals because of gravitational separation, or because they are mixed with other things that take a lot of energy to separate, like water.
One invention could change all of that, a working hydrogen fusion reactor. And because the rate of improvement recently exceeds Moore's law, and because we are less than a factor of ten away from that is needed for commercial break-even, this is very near. But who might provide us the missing puzzle piece? Perhaps a child in Gaza that just got eliminated by an Israeli Bomb.
What I liked about Trump, instead of being like Biden and focusing on getting the biggest slice of the pie he could, he focused on making the pie bigger, and this is what we need to do. There is a huge universe out there and there does not appear to be a whole lot of competition for resources, and we are very close to being able to travel it, if we would just stop killing each other, fighting over existing resources, and instead focus on making the pie bigger.

These are all orbs that I've photographed many years ago. All the single orbs were either photographed while riding the Edmonds Ferry towards Stanwood, or on Sunset Beach near the Edmonds terminal of the Ferry, except for the photo with multiple orbs in it, that one was photographed from Juanita Beach, and it happens a commercial Jet flew through the clouds at nearly the same elevation minutes later, and because I recognized the airplane type I was able to lookup the fuselage diameter and then by counting pixels determine the size of the orbs, they are only 7-8 feet in diameter.
These were all looking North from the Edmonds ferry in Washington State, or from the Beach near the Edmonds terminal. They appeared to be over the Whidbey Island Naval Air Base or close.
This one was over the Juanita Beach at the North end of Lake Washington.

Our Government "HATES" it's people, they have been robbing the people since 1913 when they created the "PRIVATELY OWNED FEDERAL RESERVE" & the "IRS" extortion rackets to fleece the wealth from the nation, it's not federal nor does it have any reserves because it is criminal in nature and this group has stolen America right out from under the dimwit Americans and still is to this day.
It's very obvious who the people in this government caters to because it has the largest lobby group in DC with major bribery power and all of these people who serve, serve that group's interests which is destroying the nation from within and that makes them all traitors to this nation... PERIOD!
Not one of them are actually there to serve the American people and that is a fact and the general public is to dam stupid or damn ignorant to even recognize it for what it is, we're all gonna pay the price for apathy!
White collar crimes are far worse that street gang crimes or even mafia's, why? because these criminals have the nation behind them and will fight in their criminal wars and so on, your serving a criminal organization while thinking your not.

In the average persons life they produce about 20,000 gallons or one tanker truck's worth of pee. Multiply that by seven billion people in the world and that's a whole lot of pee.
It would seem to me that the environmental impact of that much pee must be substantial. Probably worse than carbon dioxide which would explain why Klaus, Yuval and company are trying to snuff us all out.

I dreamt I invented / flew / swam / road a trans-medium sports transportation device last night. I think this idea came from a youtube video in which they stated that hydrogen was not toxic to breath and could be used to make a breathable air mixture like helium oxygen albeit explosive.
Here's how it worked. You had an experimental plane tube like section. The prop was driven by a very trick single cylinder motor. The piston of the motor was a metal with a high strength and curie point and there was a head built out of alternating layers of metal that would conduct a magnetic field and one that wouldn't. (yea I know wear would be high) and behind it a coil of copper wire.
The cylinder moving would convey a magnetic field to the coil or vice versa. The motor would been entirely sealed with the head exposed outside with cooling fins but the exhaust and intake would go to valving that either went to source of air and fuel and exhaust or a sealed box. In the sealed mode the air intake would also seal.
This would allow the device to act as a gasoline motor/alternator in air mode and as an electric motor in underwater mode. The head would have a third solenoid operated valve so that in electric motor mode compression is relieved.
You'd have an advanced battery pack as well and some electronics that consisted of bridge rectifier charge regulator or alternately inverter. It would probably be lithium / sulfur chemistry because nothing else could provide the necessary density. The regulator would monitor charge state and force a surfacing if too low and shut down charging if too high or battery gets too hot.
The wings would be multiple fold-able design and shaped for maximum lift as this would not be intended as a high speed device owing to power and weight balance not being ideal. They would have tensioning cables arranged to unfold and tension them for flight operation. A largish rudder and vertical stabilizer along with power modulation and a vertical winglet attached to a front steering wheel would assist in directional flight control, ground steering, and directional control on the ground in conjunction with rear rudder.
To save weight the cockpit would not be enclosed and the front wheel and rear wheels would always be extended. There would be a hydrolyzer to provide an oxygen and hydrogen atmosphere for breathing under water.
Excess hydrogen not needed for the breathing mixture could be used to inflate a balloon for buoyancy. The rudder and vertical stabilizer could also be used for dive/surface and directional control.
I don't know if material engineering could even make this all practical, but it would be a cool stunt device for an escape or invasion device in a bond movie.
Anyway, I'm posting this hear firstly for entertainment, at least If found it interesting to fly / ride / submerse in the dream, and second, so it gets on the Fediverse and by extension on Wayback Machine so if anyone does do the engineering and tries to patent it, I can claim prior art, get the patent and license it to you.

Good Evening,
A LOST dog was brought into the clinic today. He has no collar/identification and no microchip.
He is a male neutered doodle-mix, likely over 5 years of age. If you recognize this dog, please let us know via email as we are closed for the weekend.
