“In an evolutionary, self-centered world, in which man is nothing more than a glorified ape aimlessly shooting for stars of deification, it’s not difficult to understand how the slippery slope of human degradation has led from fetal devaluing to discarding,” wrote Norris at WorldNetDaily where he is a featured weekly columnist.
Norris wrote that after the Supreme Court’s 1973 Roe v. Wade decision legalizing abortion, “the primacy of a woman’s rights prevailed and the rights of the unborn were not only abandoned, but their nature legally reduced to nonhuman.” That legacy of abortion, Norris continued, has lead to an unimaginable aftermath for a practice that needs to cover guilt and accountability in euphemisms: “instead of baby we say fetus; instead of killing we say aborting; instead of dissect we say research; instead of extermination chambers we say abortion clinics – ad nauseam.”
Norris’ pro-life advocacy is a key part of his renewed Christian faith, a faith he says was nourished by his mother and Billy Graham as a youth, but lost when he succumbed to the moral temptations and glamour of Hollywood.
@Vee McMillen we've put 60 million babies to death since 1970 in this country. How many Einsteins, Elon Musks, Mozarts, etc, never even got to be born?
Yes, I agree. Planned Parenthood has turned into one of the biggest abominations in our country. the fact that they would perform full-term abortions is just straight murder. What woman doesn't know if she wants a child or not until full-term? I believe they encourage them to carry the child to term,and probably pay them to do it. Better parts to sell.
Yes, I believe a lot of the problem now is the lack of consequences that emboldens bad actors, and it also causes distrust and despair in people who respect laws and the Constitution.
@Harka I think the UN/China verses US Military, on an across the ocean war will end up being on the losing end. Really no winners in war but no point in living without freedom and liberty.
@Robert Dinse: The population is split. So is the military. The 'other side' (for the sake of argument) is feeling just as strongly about their version of 'freedom and liberty' and declaring martial law, especially with election results behind them (no matter how disputed), would steer up a hornet's nest with likely no good outcome for anyone, while 'they all 'fight' their preferred bogey-man.
@Harka I really feel that we must do what we need to do to out the deep-state and defend our freedoms, such as they are, whatever the cost. I don't expect consensus on this however and feel pretty much all I can do is let history play out however it does.
@Harka You're welcome. One thing I feel strongly about is that we can come to the best decisions by getting all the info out on the table, and BIG Data and Mainstream Media will not allow us to do this.
@Robert Dinse: I question, whether any 'deep state', nevermind rich oligarchs, would even be remotely affected by any infighting between D & R supporters. They might even like it, divide-and-conquer!
@Harka I think Republicans and Democrats alike are both compromised, so yes on that note alone I agree, but I do believe Trump is very much a constitutionalist and that's why he is so vehemently opposed.
@Harka I'm sure divide and conquer, what I have noticed over the years is that they seem to focus their efforts on one party, until that party pisses off the general public enough that they fall from power, then they throw their support to the other.
@Robert Dinse: Trump has done more things 'right' than is given credit for. I doubt, however, that he did so out of a deep belief in constitutional values. I do hope he doesn't screw up his mostly non-interventionist policy (at least in overt ways) on his presumably last days in office, because I think, it's the best thing he did overall. Agree with your assessment re divide-and-conquer and D & R's.
@Harka Well I just bring anything I can find to the table and let people make their own judgements. I think if you look at the current situation with the cover-ups by mainstream media and by big data, it is clear something very unhealthy for our nation is going on under the table.
@Robert Dinse: Am with you there. I've been very disappointed in 'the press', actually. With Trump being in office they morphed from their already not very good exhibition of 'journalism' into some bizarre fusion of yellow-press and Pravda. And not just in the US! I reckon, true journalism, perhaps the only 'free' venues of different and investigative views will be independent sites, such as Greenwald or the Daily Wire is attempting to establish. It is badly needed.
I found this talk very interesting. I notice a lot of people on the Internet are incapable of exactly the things he talks about as being modern cognitive attributes.
