Where 44% of Delta were requiring hospitalization, 1% of Omicron are requiring hospitalization. Of those requiring hospitalization, only 10% require oxygen, only 6% have died, and of those 6% 1/4 of them died from non-covid related issues.
So even including those who died of non-covid related issues, this makes the death rate from the variant .06% which is LESS than the .1% of the standard flu.
And I was hesitant to take a flu vaccine, I sure as hell am not going to take a vaccine with a 500x death and gimp rate of the flu vaccine to protect against something LESS deadly, nor are these ridiculous measures in any way even remotely justified.

This is necessary because some system library updates that have been recently applied require a system restart to utilize the new code which addresses some Linux security concerns. This should take about ten minutes for all hosts to complete.
