Given that Omicron now has completely displaced Delta, and Given that Omicron has a death rate of .017% or less than 1/5th that of the average seasonal flu, and Given that the jabs are completely ineffective at preventing contraction or transmission of Omicron, and given that we hit the peak two weeks ago and now are at 1/4th the peak level meaning we've largely reached herd immunity, these restrictions are uncalled for, NOT in the public health interest and only represent a political power grab. Drop them, or be dropped at election time, your choice.
