How to Enjoy Radio Shows Online
The Radio Luisteren is the international name for the unique brand of windsurfing which was originally developed in Netherlands, but has now become very popular worldwide. The first generation of windsurfers were made possible by the combination of two different yet efficient technologies: the Radio Frequency Bowman coupling (or RFBC) and the Radio Control System (RCS). The RCS used the power from radio transmitters (transmitters which can be either fixed or movable) to alter the shape of the sail via the use of airbags. This allows the surfer to change the shape of the sail more easily and safely, whilst also maintaining the inherent stability of the board. The Radio Luisteren is the first "sailing" machine to make use of the concept of radio frequency rather than the use of sails, which is probably why it has been able to gain such a tremendous amount of popularity over the years. When you buy a Radio Luisteren you do not get the typical tiered support system that you would expect from other similar boards. What actually happens is that the entire board is built up of one giant transmitting mast that acts as the "broadband" receiver and transmits your data to the transmitter at the bottom of the deck. This means that you can literally have the radio on the water without the traditional "sail rig"
Radio Luisteren's mast system also includes the "radio stations" that play music from a selection of worldwide radio stations. These radio stations often come from the United Kingdom, Spain, Portugal, Brazil, New Zealand and Norway among others. Each radio station has been specially designed for the type of waves that they receive - for example, the music played from Portuguese radio stations is made to resonate at a frequency that is commonly used in Brazil. This is actually why the "Ebenezer Furtado" song on Radio Luisteren is so apt for this type of radio reception - because it was actually played from Portuguese radio stations and has a frequency that is commonly used in Brazil.
One of Radio Luisteren's more interesting products is their radio online luisteren. AM Radio Propagation Weird Today
I am in Shitline (Shoreline) Washington, about 13 miles North of Libtardia (Seattle), and normally during the daytime it is possible to just barely receive Portland Oregon which is 156 miles line of site (about 180 driving).
Today, KEX 1190 from Portland is booming even during daylight and I can receive KGO from San Francisco though it is fading quite heavily. Usually during the daytime the "D" layer of the ionosphere absorbs AM broadcast band frequencies so heavily that AM reception past 200 miles or so is impossible.
Interestingly, Shortwave propagation is quite normal for this time of day with the maximum usable frequency being right around 15 Mhz (I can very weakly receive 15 Mhz WWV, 10Mhz is strong, 20Mhz is not receivable at all.

@Dennis Wilson Wikipedia is left wing, would never criticize the Jews and should NEVER be taken as an authoritative source of information unless of course your MSNBC, but I don't care to have Gatis of Borg style credibility. There is an old adage that says, "You can't prove a negative.", that is you can prove that something does exist by providing a single instance, but you can't prove that something doesn't exist. So perhaps sometimes with something like this it's just best to consider it for it's content rather than trying to do the impossible because it doesn't fit your politics.

Ubuntu-Mate 21.10 Updates Just Rendered My System Unusable
I recently upgraded Ubuntu to 21.10. Applying daily updates just rendered my system unusable, can't even boot into rescue mode. It says it can't find interpreter /bin/sh but when I mount the partition from another Linux image it is there, so I'm a bit miffed. If I try to boot into rescue mode it hangs with tried to kill init.
At this point I'm restoring from automatic backups which were made this morning so other than restoration time nothing of importance lost, a few music files but that's about it. But when I get it back up I'm going to have to figure out what update broke it and how to avoid breaking it again.
So... If THIS Isn't Political CORRUPTION Then WHAT IS?!!!
