@Saggy You, like most illiterates, confuse "capitalism" with "corporatism", the latter is problematic, the former is the only economic system ever proven to function historically.
@Saggy Because people in government are dishonest and sold their position to corporate sponsors, mostly Jewish corporate sponsors. We have laws on the books that in the past addressed such things, such as the Sherman Anti-trust Act, but libtards won't enforce them.
@Saggy Well on the whole it has worked better than communism even in spite of corporatism. The less government controls the better but corporations becoming defacto governments like Facebook is no good either.
@Saggy Oh things like GDP for starters, particularly per capita GDP, freedom to choose the career of your choice, not starving to death like the Bolsheviks, not having your organs harvested like in Communist China, these are all fairly good metrics.
@Saggy The thing about those massive inequalities is that even the poorest do better than the equal people under communism. Just look at North verses South Korea for example, or before the fall of the Berlin Wall, East verses West Germany. The problem when you define equality that you're looking for, is it equality of outcome or equality of opportunity? Capitalism shoots for the latter, communism the former, and the problem with that is if you give everyone the same regardless of the effort they put forth then they put forth none and everyone is in poverty. If you give people opportunity, some will be productive and lift themselves out, some will not. Those some will not will suffer under either system, at least capitalism provides some opportunity for those willing to make the effort.
@Saggy I don't know I think we are faring a lot better than say India, Africa, or even Australia which is capitalist but a lot more authoritarian leaning.

@cranston I don't question that there were planes, I question whether or not the planes caused the buildings to come down. Too much weird shit to blame on planes, they fell symmetrically, cars six blocks away were melted even though people immediately in the vicinity were not, and for that matter paper in cars with melted metal did not combust, some of the effects on the metals in the building strongly resemble Hutchison effect (which I've seen in person, met John Hutchison at a lecture at U-of-W and got to examine some of his artifacts).
