The 'other side' (for the sake of argument) is feeling just as strongly about their version of 'freedom and liberty' and declaring martial law, especially with election results behind them (no matter how disputed), would steer up a hornet's nest with likely no good outcome for anyone, while 'they all 'fight' their preferred bogey-man.

Why would God choose anyone so patently evil.
