"The daughter had a 'significant and deteriorating' kidney condition which could be managed through dialysis but cured with a transplant. "

It is kind of interesting because an argument can be made that it is a legitimate transaction... One that is, of course, highly questionable. Nobody wants anyone in their family giving up their body parts for money.
